Summary: The Boy King Tutankhamun

Tutankhamun was an Egyptian King or Pharaoh who ruled from 1332-1323 BC. He ascended the throne at the young age of ten. He was the son of Akhenaten. During his reign, he focused on rebuilding temples and monuments in Thebes and Karnak which were in ruins. Despite his physical disabilities and ill health that required him to use a cane, he undertook many building projects. His preserved body, or mummy, was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, almost intact. This discovery attracted worldwide interest in ancient Egypt.

Kolkata, February 10: A daring burglary took place in a flat at Salt Lake yesterday night. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. in the apartment of Mr. S. Roy. The occupants of the house were fast asleep when a gang of four armed robbers broke into the flat. They threatened the family members with knives and guns. The robbers looted cash worth ₹50,000, gold ornaments, and expensive electronic gadgets. They locked the family in a room before fleeing. The local police have started an investigation and are examining CCTV footage to catch the culprits. Fear has gripped the local residents.
